The Revelers is one of Rochester’s premier Americana, roots-rock bands. Guitarist/vocalist Jeff Sherner and bassist/vocalist Jeff Simpson came out of the cornfields of Livingston County and have played together for the past 20 years. With multi-instrumentalist/vocalist David Curry and drummer Don Stauffer, The Revelers present a sound heavily influenced by Merle Haggard, Steve Earle, Wilco, John Prine and the Old 97’s, to name a few. These songs are about hard livin’, loose women, tears in beers and love gone wrong.
