Flight Test Wednesdays begin March 4th, 2020 at Abilene Bar & Lounge, home to many a memorable Wednesday and an all around warm and welcoming place. This round of Wednesdays is intended to be a hang, a regrouping, a homecoming, a build-it-before-your-ears experience complete with two sets of Flying Object, vinyl DJs, and the social club that these nights are really all about.

FLYING OBJECT is the new design in a prolific line from Matt O'Brian (gpgds, thunder body) that bends styles to get where crooked songs take it. Yvonne Rogers (piano), Raf Enciso (upright bass), Ben Combs (drums) and Matt (guitar) use FLYING OBJECT to get new songs and new versions of familiar ones off the ground in a free, flexible, open fashion of no particular style. The band will follow this loose flight path of songs with experimentation in between to see how the new whip handles highs, lows, fasts and slows.
