The Starlings are Meg Gehman (This Other Life, Meg Gehman and the Influence), Jon Gary (Woody Dodge, The Crabapples), and Fred Kentner and James Conner (This Other Life, Miche and the Anglos). They came together, explored new directions and ideas, created what felt right and good, and in the meantime, figuring themselves out as the deliverers.

Collectively, they've made their bones in music for some 30+ years now, relying with much gratitude on the creative energy and spirit of the Rochester region. They have an intentional emphasis on groove, melody, conscience and accessibility; all in a kind of American soul-folk soup. This is a nice territory for the group: coming together so they can share some much needed peace and love, collective joy, and spread a little community. They predict you will enjoy it thoroughly!
