The Hassan Zaman Quartet

Hassan Zaman is a studio producer, music director and recording artist based in Rochester, NY. While developing a life-long multi-instrumental familiarity with acoustic & electric guitars, upright bass, keyboards, drum set, percussion, and vocals., he’s found his primary focus being an evolving, preeminent voice on bass guitar. Celebrated for robust groove, elegant musicianship, and aesthetic versatility, his tone is largely informed by soul, r&b, funk, jazz, hip hop, rock, pop, reggae, Latin and African traditions.

Hassan has shared the stage with Danielle Ponder, Lost Wax Collective, Maybird, Mosaic Foundation, and That Brunette.
