Daydreams

Daydreams is a collaboration between Rochester natives Kevin Spoth and Derick Thompson. The two childhood friends reconnected working on rap beats, and shortly after began to resonate with the funk sound from the ‘70’s. Creating a reimagination of the era, their sound is a modern take on a mix of disco-pop, funk, and psychedelia. They take inspiration from classic funk sounds developed by the Bee Gees and Earth, Wind, & Fire and expand on modern work like Daft Punk, Cory Wong, and Remi Wolf. With their debut single “Setting Sun,” they create a cosmic dance experience with an introspective atmosphere. Listeners are eagerly awaiting an upcoming EP estimated to drop in February 2023.

Saphron

Saphron is a progressive band out of Rochester, New York with sounds influenced by popular prog/math rock bands like Chon, Aqueous and Phish. John Carlo Pecheone (Guitar), C.J. Militello (guitar), Noah Martella (drums) & Casey McMahon (bass)met in their first year at Nazareth College as music students but it wasn’t until after they all graduated that they would form Saphron. They now play around the United States and in Canada and have their debut album on the way.
