The Mustard Tigers

The Mustard Tigers are a high energy country and blues electric quintet based in the Naples area. The band is led by the young ambitious country pickin’ Brian Elam (electric guitar and vocals) and includes Matt Herrmann (electric guitar, electric keyboard, mandolin, harmonica, and vocals), Sadie Frederick (fiddle and vocals), Kyle Ingalls (electric bass guitar), and Dylan Bloom (drums). Each of these members had gigged for a number of years before coming together in this group.

This rowdy group performs a mix of originals and covers ranging from the classic country of Willie Nelson and the classic blues rock of The Band to more unexpected modern stuff such as the Bloodhound Gang. At a Mustard Tigers show, you can expect to be moved by the soulful, delectable guitar work of Brian and Matt. With the original material, the listener is taken on a journey from the point of view of the modern outlaw and is touched by the tender sincerity of Brian’s ballads. In the last year, the group has played a number of well attended shows on bills with acts such as Dirty Blanket, Folkfaces, The Honey Smugglers, Flying Object, and White Woods. During this last festival season, The Mustard Tigers appeared at both the G-Lodge and Sterling Stage. The band has evolved a great deal since its inception, originally appearing as a 3 piece bluegrass group. The band is more motivated than ever with no plans of slowing down. While the band has primarily focused on gigging and getting its name out in previous years without the aid of an album, be on the lookout for a debut release in 2024.
