Boyd Parker Ambush

“Singer-songwriter Nick Young burns hot. You could even say he burns daylight. With The Boyd Parker Ambush, Young mixes up originals with covers that course through the troubadour vein. There's a lot of weight swinging in there, from Johnny to Townes to Merle, dancing in there along with plenty of Nick. Honest, intense, and bona fide” City Newspaper, Frank DeBlase

Patick Barry

Some love stories take the long way home. Patrick Barry, formerly leader of Navar and The Barry Brothers, is a singer-songwriter from Fillmore, NY who now calls High Point, NC home.

Barry first started writing songs in 1998 as an 18-year-old, broken-hearted U.S. Marine stationed at Twentynine Palms, CA. The songs, the letters to his lost love that were largely written in Mojave Desert evenings would form alt-rock band Navar’s debut album. Based out of rural Western New York, Navar would go on to record four albums, gain regional radio play, and tour extensively during the 2000s opening for Third Eye Blind, The Goo Goo DollsReel Big Fish and more.

In 2010, what started as a college project for Patrick’s younger brother Bradford, who was studying recording engineering, became The Barry Brothers— a bluesy, folk-rock group with a story-telling southern flair that would release three EPs and tour regularly along the Southern Tier.

Then, in 2014, after 17 years, while running along the same old dusty county roads, Patrick was reunited with the love of his life, the muse that first sparked his musical odyssey. Coming full circle, Patrick again followed his heart, this time to High Point, NC, where he continues to put the songs together alongside his wife, two children, and two dogs.

Barry steps into the next decade of his career as a solo artist. His music is personal and poetic, with a strong connection to the impassioned late 90s alternative that shaped his young heart.
