Mr. Heartache

Mr. Heartache is a four piece band performing a stripped down, straight ahead brand of American roots music fronted by country music archivist Jim Schleich on vocals and acoustic guitar in conjunction with Los Angeles native Dr. Roy Berns on electric guitar. The backline consists of Scott McNitt on drums and Eric Huppert on the Fender electric bass.

Heavily influenced by the definitive sounds of Southern California country music of times past, Mr. Heartache weaves a tapestry of songs making forays into country blues, western swing, folk inspired ballads and spirited instrumentals that introduce new generations of listeners to classic material , keeping  the honky tonk flame burning brightly.
