ROC Band is Rochester City School District's very first district-wide modern band ensemble directed by Scott Weber and Anastasia Polashenski. Serving grades 7-12 and open to any school in the district, ROC Band gives RCSD secondary students a chance to be the rockstars they always dreamed of. Students perform on guitar, bass, drum set, keyboard and vocals, manage their setlists and are actively involved in each rehearsal.

 The first annual ROC Band Music Festival on April 21st brings these talented students together with local bands: Deepak Thettu & Friends, Some Ska Band and The Flowerhead Folks. Come enjoy an afternoon of incredible live music and explore raffle prizes and a 50/50 raffle at your favorite music venue, Abilene Bar & Lounge. $10 at the door and all proceeds benefit future performance opportunities for the rock stars of ROC Band!
