Durham County Poets

Formed in Ormstown, Quebec, Durham County Poets are a band in the truest sense of the word and have seen their popularity and reputation grow with each passing year. Each band member writes and arranges material, bringing a unique flavour to the overall mix. The band features Kevin Harvey on lead vocals, Carl Rufh on bass, Rob MacDonald on guitars, and Rob Couture on drums. The result is blues, folk, soul, gospel and R&B all woven together creating an authentic yet contemporary sound!

They have been nominated for several Maple Blues Awards, a Canadian Folk Music Award, Male vocalist of the year, as well as a Juno Award nomination for their 2019 release of (Hand me down Blues). Their latest release. (Out of the Woods) was released in May 2022, and garnered much attention with top 40, top 20, top 10 best album of the year lists for 2022
