And followed at 9:15pm by San Francisco singer-songwriter
ELLISA SUN
Ellisa Sun cuts out her heart and leaves it all on stage—which is why she never wears white.
Raised in the City of Angels, Ellisa migrated north and found a home in San Francisco’s creative scene, where she wrangled a seven-piece band to play her music. Her sound is heartfelt, honest, and textured, combining elements of r&b, bossa nova, and soul. Comparisons to artists such as Amy Winehouse, Adele, and Norah Jones come naturally.
Ellisa released her self-produced debut album “Moon & Sun” in 2017. In a short time, Ellisa has garnered much critical acclaim. SF Weekly called her song, “Unravel” as near to perfect as any song could be” and “damn gorgeous.”
Since releasing her album, Ellisa has played up and down the West Coast, from the Hotel Café in Los Angeles to the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco to basement clubs in Portland. Ellisa and her guitar have also earned frequent flyer miles, performing overseas in Japan and throughout South America.
Now on her first national tour, Ellisa is again showing she has what it takes t make it on her own. Just a guitar, an RV, and an insatiable desire to perform.
