Happy Hour with The Terr Family Band

Doors 3:00pm • Music 5:30pm

Happy Hour with great drink specials, free munchies and live music featuring the Terr Family Band!

Hard-Rockin' Louisiana Cajun Dancehall Music!

We’re at it again! Now it’s brother John’s turn to come to town, so we’re throwing another family and friends shindig at Abilene Bar & Lounge. This’ll be the happiest happy hour ever, from 5:30 til 8:30. The band features John Terr on accordion, sister Betsy Terr Fuller on guitar, twin fiddles with Jane DeLisa and Missy Roser, Danny Birnbaum on upright bass, and Rochester's favorite drummer, Jimmy Mac (Jim Mcaveney). We’re gonna rip it up with some hardcore high energy Cajun music, the bar will feature drink specials and free munchies, and the dance floor will be wide open. Forget going home after work...come on down, get your two-step on and celebrate Friday, family, and friends with us!

John Terr is a well-respected accordion player and vocalist from St. Paul, by way of Chicago. As early as 1975, John spent time in Louisiana visiting with and learning from some of the great Cajun musicians of the generation before us. He currently plays with the award-winning New Riverside Ramblers from Minneapolis/St. Paul. He also plays with brother Charlie in the Chicago Cajun Aces, and with sister Betsy whenever possible.
