William Russell Wallace spent a decade on the road with several bands before taking a break to get his MFA in Fiction from the University of Montana. His new record, DIRTY SOUL, is a raw collection of songs about redemption in the face of self-destruction and addiction. His fiction can be found in Yemassee (winner of the 2018 Yemassee Prize in Fiction), Breakwater Review (runner-up in the 2019 Fiction Contest), Carve, and elsewhere. To the Rochester music scene, Declan Ryan is a fifteen-year recidivist. After a wild youth that included barnstorming DIY tours, the infamous Instant Album series, and a stint building violins in Spain, he’s settled into his wheelhouse as a craftsman and storyteller. In 2019, that means taking the stage armed with nothing but some tall tales and a bigass baritone guitar, sink or swim.

After ten years of intermittent collaboration across much of the country, the two are set to kick off summer at Abilene on June 14th. Declan is turning 30, so expect surprise guests, snacks, and all sorts of tomfoolery.
